Can you put polysporin (bacitracin and polymyxin) on a hot water burn?

For a second-degree: ... Burn, keep the wound clean and apply a topical antibiotic ointment (e.g., polysporin, (bacitracin and polymyxin) bacitracin, neosporin, triple-antibiotic ointment). Also be sure to get good nutrition so that you have all the necessary building blocks for wound healing. If the wound is not healing soon (i.e., in 1 to 2 weeks), or if it seems like it is getting infected, seek formal medical attention.

Ointment is the ...: Worst thing to put on a burn. It keeps the heat and damage in. Silvadine cream would be much better.
