Flaking Skin in Ear: Lots of things can cause the skin to get flaky. Eczema is probably the most common and it can occur anywhere you have skin. Seborrheic dermatitis is another common cause. Both of these conditions are hard to cure but can often be controlled with prescription medicine. Allergic reaction to jewelry, psoriasis or something called chondrodermatitis can also cause flaking in the ear. Good luck!
