how easy is it to spread the hepatitis c virus?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Charles Sturgis
28 years experience Pathology
Spread by blood...: Hepatitis c is a contagious liver disease that is most commonly spread by blood from an infected patient entering the body of an uninfected patient (such as by sharing injection drug needles). The virus can also be spread in other ways such as by sexual transmission. I am attaching a very good link on hepatitis c. http://www.cdc.gov/hepatitis/c/cfaq.htm hope that this helps.
