Second hand smoke: There is some concern about second hand smoke. On initial exposure children may experience a contact high. Long term may be just as bad as second hand cigarette smoke because there are more carcinogens in marijuana smoke. However, all evidence is anecdotal till now.

Not good: Cannabis is one of those drugs that produce problems for babies however they are exposed.It can produce sedation, weakness & poor feeding.Exposed infants are at higher risk of crib death.Their frequency of upper respiratory tract and ear infections doubles. Long term head growth in baby is impaired but the effect on development is unknown.
