Could you explain when using a dental sickle scaler, how do you clean it after every use?

Cleaning: If it is only going to be used on yourself than using hydrogen peroxide, alcohol or other sterilizers will be fine. If being used on others there are set parameters for sterilization. Follow them, but if you are a professional than you should be following osha standards anyway, correct. If you are not, than i wouldn't use a sickle, they are sharp and know to knock off papillae and gum tissue.

You or a dentist?: A dentist is supposed to first scrub clean and then autoclave these types of instruments after use and before using it on another patient. If you are using a scaler on yourself, don't! leave that for the professionals (unless you yourself are a dentist or dental hygienist and then you would already know the answer to your question).
