my boyfriend has 2 clots in his lungs and is currently on warfarin/lovenox but inr is 1.4. what does this mean?

INR too low: Inr is a measure of relative blood "thinning", from warfarin. The Lovenox (enoxaparin) will keep his blood thin until the warfarin/inr level reaches a therapeutic levels between 2 and 3. Once the inr level is appropriate, the Lovenox (enoxaparin) can then be stopped.
