Disclaimer

i had ulcerative colitis, but now i'm worried that i might have crohn's disease. what do i do?

Colitis: These two forms of GI disease can sometimes have overlap but also have many areas that they are different. Best to discuss with your GI md and or surgeon to help differentiate and sometimes a repeat colonoscopy or upper endoscopy may be needed along with other test to establish a firm diagnosis.

Follow with GI: You are 42 and have uc. You are concerned that it is crohn's disease. Following with your GI doctor over a period of time will define it. Inflammatory bowel disease is a systemic issue and it manifests in the GI tract. Your doctor wants to make you better, so if you are feeling better and blood work is better than time will tell. Be well and exercise daily.
