Chest pain : What you are describing is pleuritic chest pain not likely cardiac in nature could be anything from a rib or muscle strain or lung condition if persists despite advil (ibuprofen) see your doctor.

Chest pain: On the left side is serious until you can explain that it isn't your heart. Diaphram sounds involved. Any chance you just upset your stomach with the ibuprofen? Must rule out heart/aorta/abdomin issues then go from there.
