Myofascial pain: This is often due to myofascial pain / myofascial nodule originating in the rhomboid muscle. A physical therapist can help you work out the trigger point. It may be feasible to work this out yourself using a tennis ball that is sandwiched between you and the floor while compressing the painful nodule.
