Yes: If your tight skin is due to swelling and the swelling does not go down, it is not good and you should be evaluated for a deep vein clot. If the tightness only occurs after strenuous activity, you should be checked for compartment syndrome. Need more history details.

Tight skin: Usually means excess edema. I suggest a vascular work up and don't wait.
