Change toothbrush: As necessary, generally every 3 months for most individuals. Some tooth brushes have indicators. Certainly when the bristles are obviously worn, bent, etc.

Every 3 max 4 months: Studies show that after 3 months of normal use toothbrushes are much less effective.
