Have it examined: The weird bump on the neck should be checked out by your physician. This is particularly the case if it has changed in size or coloration or if there is new pain associated with it. Cancer is always a concern. Special imaging tests or even a biopsy may be necessary. But its good to start with your physician who can tell a lot by looking at it and palpating it.
