Ovarian cysts after treatment of ovarian cancer, help?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Bryan Treacy
34 years experience in Gynecology
May be normal: Cysts are what ovaries make "for a living". An ovarian cyst, by itself, does indicated ovarian cancer. The reason for the cyst should be evaluated if it is persistent. Continued followup with the treating physician for ovarian cancer is indicated.
