Probably: The length of your period is less predictive than the regularity of your cycle is to determine ovulation.

If my period was 7 days late do that means. I will ovulate late?

New cycle: You always ovulate 14 days PRIOR to your period, so if regular usually, then you would be on a new cycle, and generally would ovulate about 2weeks (midcycle) after your period. Forget the old cycle you were on as far as dates go, you would now be on a new cycle with the new dates of your last period.

14 days before: Ovulation occurs consistently about 14 days before your next cycle. If you know how many days there are from the first day of the bleeding to the next during your normal cycle just subtract 14 days. This allows you to predict when you should be ovulating.

Hormone cycles: That would be nearly impossible given how the hormone cycles drive the menstrual or ovulatory cycle. You ovulate about halfway through the cycle. Or about fourteen days before your next period.
