That is possible.: Yes, bulimia is extremely hard on your body. If your body fat decreases too low, your period will stop. Rapid weight increases or decreases can stop your period. Bulimia stresses your body and makes it sick - this can cause your period to stop. I hope that you are getting help for this problem. Take care.

Indeed, quite often!: Irregular periods are often a clue to doctors that their patient may be bulimic. I've read research that found 45% - 50% of bulimic women experienced this symptom. A possible reason is that when our body is being poorly nourished, it curtails ovulation to prevent that unnecessary demand on its energy resources. It is a signal to you to get the eating disorder under control and return to health.
