Nccn.org: Awful predicament. CML is one of the success stories with the new therapies, but proper follow up is important to assure optimal long term survival on the new oral agents. There are good patient assistance programs to assist with your medications. Review the web address above and CML page with your doc to plan the needed tests.

agree, there are plenty of support programs to help you, this is one of the easily treatable diseases and most patients live a normal life, many are cured. you may also try to ask your Doctor to refer you to one of the ongoing research studies where treatment and testing is free. depending on what state you live in you may qualify for medicaid program.
