Weight loss: Even if abdominal muscles are tight they will not be visible under a layer of fat. If after weight loss (goal < 133lb or bmi 19 - 26) there is excess skin, a tummy tuck may be an option. If the skin is not saggy after the weight loss, but there are isolated areas of subcutaneous fat accumulation, they can be removed by liposuction.
