Concussion: Concussion headache can remain for many months. You need to have cognitive as well as physical rest. Naproxen twice a day with food can help, however if symptoms persist longer than three to four weeks you may need a preventative medication. Either way you should be evaluated after any head injury and have the appropriate work up depending on your history.
