Yes: In most cases, laser can be successfully used to correct mixed astigmatism. Consult with an ophthalmologist who performs laser vision correction.

LASIK 4 astigmatism: Some of my happiest lasik patients have been those with astigmatism. Those that have astigmatism have to point of focus where objects are clear. Some lasers treat mixed astigmatism easily and in one step. Others are less effective at doing so. The visx custom wavefront system does a great job with mixed astigmatism. http://www.doctorsforvisualfreedom.com/lasik-and-astigmatism.html.

LASIK ; Astigmatism: Lasik is generally very effective at correcting astigmatism. It is possible for astigmatism to be too severe to correct but this occurs in only a very small minority of cases.

What's all-laser lasik surgery used for?

Thinner cornea: All laser lasik denotes lasik in which the corneal flap is made using a laser rather than a device called a microkeratome. Laser created flaps can make thinner and more uniform flaps than a microkeratome. A thinner flap may be beneficial depending on the prescription and the corneal thickness of the patient.
