Depends.........: "normal" depends on the individual. If you normally urinate 6 times a day, then that is normal for you. In another person, 6 times a day may be abnormal if they usually urinate 3 times a day. If you notice a change in frequency from your "normal, " consult your physician.

How many times should I pee normally a day?

About 8-10 times: This will depend on your oral fluid intake. Normally, doctors recommend to drink 8-10 glasses of water daily or as necessary. The more you drink water, the more you urinate, the less water you drink, the less you urinate. I hope i answer your question. UTI: You could also just have some irritation around the urethra from the act of intercourse. It is also possible you could have a bladder infection. These are common after having sex. Symptoms would include pain urinating, frequency and urgency. This can be easily taken care of by seeing your physician, getting properly diagnosed and getting a course of antibiotics if this is the diagnosis.
A member asked:

How long do UTI symptoms last. Been on cipro (ciprofloxacin) since weds. Am voiding better but still have need to go all the time.?

One day or one week: Since today is thursday i assume you have only been on medication for one day and it takes more time than that for symptoms to resolve. If you have been on medication for a week then you need to see the dr. Because you may have resistant organism to cipro (ciprofloxacin). That is not uncommon.
