Depends: Depends on how much caffeine you are using. If you are using up to 4-6 cups a day, that should be ok unless you are having side effects from it. If you are using it because you are excessively sleepy, and especially if you are still sleepy despite the caffeine, you should see a sleep medicine physician for sleepiness.

See below: There are several medications that have been found to suppress appetite of course, the fda approved agents are all stimulant based. And carry simialar side effects to caffeine if not more so. However, non fda improved medications that have been shown to be helpful in various studies include topiramate, naltrexone, zonisamide, victoza, (liraglutide) Byetta among others.
