Have it looked at: Small bumps on the tongue may or may not be normal. However, a swollen tongue is not normal. You should see your physician or a dentist to have either one look at what you are describing in order to evaluate it. If the tongue continues to swell, and you can't get an appointment soon enough, you might even consider going to the emergency room of your local hospital.
