Do not need to panic: But you should find out why you had this problem. In young people, it is not likely to be anything serious yet, you need to follow it up. Do not ignore , if it happen again you should go see a doctor. A medical examination will reveal the cause and a solution to fix it. No: Most likely cause of this type of bleeding is external or internal hemorroids. Occasionally, inflammatory bowel disease may affect lower part of colon or rectum and pt may get a symptom like this. Important thing here is to observe if this is a recurrent issue. If it is recrrent, i would seek advise from a primary care md.
