would something happen to the stitches or to my teeth if i drink wine or some alcoholic beverage?

Typically not --: Obviously no alcohol for the first 24-48 hours or as advised by your doctor. But after that you should be okay within moderation depending on the surgical procedure / medications etc. Obviously consult with your dentist for the final word. Hope this helps.
