Either: It probably makes little to no difference. I suggest patients try every other day to give the male partner a day of abstinence. It's more important to start a day or 2 before ovulation though.

Little difference: The sperm count is slightly higher when having intercourse every 48 hours. In a young healthy couple with no medical problems though this is unlikely to make any difference. Just relax and enjoy yourself. If it takes more than 12 months to get pregnant and schedule a visit with the doctor.

May need time for: Sperm production - that could be the reason for every other day. Daily intercourse should not be a problem.
