dr. is it possible that high doses of sythetic progestin for 2 months did not thin out my uterine lining but caused it to pass? (2cm long, 1.5cm thick)

Yes: The Progesterone is to stabilize the lining and then allow it to pass. Sometimes a large amount of the lining pass at the same time while other times only bots and pieces will pass over a longer period of time.
