My 3 month old son scratches his face every night before he falls asleep. his eyes gets watery too. he seems very uncomfortable. could it be allergies?

Not necessarily an allergy. Baby might be irritated by perfume, dyes in detergent used to clean bed linens and clothing. Also a stuffed animal nearby might be the culprit. Important to keep baby's nails short to minimize scratched. Avoid using mittens on baby's hands
