could you tell me what's the connection between acne and shaving?

Folliculitus: Most people mistake follicultius for acne. Shaving against the grain of your hair causes it to be cut below the skin. When it grows back it gets trapped under the skin causing ingrown hairs. Shaving with the hair, and exfoliating on a regular basis will help alleviate bumps. An option is doing laser hair removal which will destroy the hair follicle getting rid of the cause of the problem.
