Forehead: It really depends. A bump on the forehead could be from a fracture of the bone of your forehead to a bruise or even a hematoma (collection of blood deep to the skin) in the soft tissues, like the muscle, of the forehead. Also, it depends on the timing of your accident. If your accident was recent, a bruise is likely and this can bet better with applying heat or ice. Have someone evaluate.
