Stress: Or possibly anxiety. Allergies do not cause what you describe.

Multiple ways: Asthma during pregnancy: 30% of paitents worsen, 30% stay the same, and 30% improve. Treat and manage your asthma the same as if you weren't pregnant. Try to avoid allergens and triggers for allergies and asthma. Using a peak flow meter may help you to gauge teh severity of your symptoms. You should definitely get the flu shot during flu season. Many meds are safe to use--just consult your ob.

I was in an accident 3months ago had X-ray of my neck due to whiplash. I've been seeing a chiropractor but it still hurts. Should I get an mri?

Yes if not improved: If you are still hurting without any real improvement or if it is feeling worse, then a MRI would be indicated unless the pain is mild and not affecting your life.

What are good ways relieve throat pain?

Lots of ways: Tylenol (acetaminophen) or Ibuprofen mostly. Gargling with warm salt water, one fourth tsp salt per 8 ounces. Chloraseptic spray, Benzocaine throat losenges. If more severe pain may have an infection, go see a doctor. For bad viral pharyngitis we sometimes use steroids, and for strep you need an antibiotic.

Situational symptoms: When your symptoms are so situational (distress occurs when you are in a particular place or circumstance but rarely occur other times) then stress must be entertained as a possibility (like fear of heights, ladders, flying, etc.) phobias are readily treatable, once you've ruled out medical problems that can prompt identical symptoms. See your doctor as to how to go about addressing this issue.
A 33-year-old member asked:

patient" currently on 20 mg Prozac (fluoxetine) and 600 mg gabapentin (a.M.) and 600 gabapentin (p.M.) for past 2 mos. Anxiety rising. Feels lost. Wants to run away. ?

Sounds like: Sounds like this patient's psychiatrist would like to see the patient again soon, because Prozac (fluoxetine) + off-label use of Gabapentin does not seem to be having its desired effect. Hopefully this patient is also in psychotherapy as well -- many ways to deal with anxiety can be learned there.
