have suspected ms, muscle weakness in left lower arm and hand gets worse thru the day but ok at night. ms symptom or something else? ms not confirmed.

Here is an approach: First, be certain that problems in left arm are not associated with nerve compression at wrist, elbow, shoulder, or neck. An EMG study will certainly help. Secondly, mri's of both brain and spinal cord may be helpful, and spinal fluid analysis can also be needed. If your current doctors are unsure, get a second opinion at a nearby medical school. Unlikely, but maybe a myasthenic problem exists.
