have lumps on both sides of trac/neck drs pa examined them and feels i will prob need to see a surg, also donr blood work for it whys blood work needed?

Blood work is needed: To screen for certain things - cbc, thyroid panel, chem 23, etc. These are also used by the surgeon/anesthesiologist for any pre-op assessment. I also imagine an ultrasound or some advanced imaging will be also the next step upon the surgeon's request.
