Sleep walking snorin: Zolpidem engendered primarily dysphoric-like effects and the correlation between reduced GABA and "dizzy" may be a function of zolpidem's interaction with alpha1gaba(a) receptors which is also a ted by alcohol's sedating effect on many functions controlled by the brain--judgment, movement, and even breath. Etoh & Ambien is a lethal combination not recomendation that can cause sleep agressiion.

Bad idea: It's a bad idea to combine Ambien (zolpidem) with alcohol, period. Can intensify sedation and also likelihood of Ambien (zolpidem) side effects like sleepwalking, dizziness, confusion, etc.
