Most likely,: You describe classic eyelid myokymia, a common yet benign condition which may be associated with fatigue, poor sleep, eyestrain, metabolic or chemical imbalances, etc. The vein on your eyelid has nothing to do with this. Suggest you visit your primary care doc and discuss management.

Blepharospasm : Eyelid twitching can be caused by many factors , the most common are stress, lack of sleep , use of stimulants (ie caffeine) . Improvements can be seen with lifestyle modifications, however if it worsens you should see a specialist to r/o other causes .If other causes are ruled out and twitching continues, Botox is an option.
