Perhaps: Back pain, belly pain, and other pains have been reported. Blood clots can occur with hormonal contraceptives. If your rib/chest pain does not rapidly improve, is severe, or if you have trouble catching your breath, see your doctor right away. With breathlessness, consider going to an urgent care or er.
