yesterday i had a root canal on my left bottom molar. i now have swelling and bleeding of the gum next to my left top molar. could this be infected?

X-ray needed!: Please go get an x-ray of that upper left tooth! i would assume that tooth is also infected but is unrelated to the other toothache.

Yes: It might be. And it needs to be evaluated. It is not related to your lower tooth.

Coincidental: Unrelated to Rx in lower jaw. Yes, may be infected, but not related to the Rx you just had accomplished. Please return to your Dentist to have the area evaluated.
