how do u know u have stones in ur kidney?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Zafar Khan
57 years experience Urology
By kidney sonogram: The only definite and accurate way is by ultra sound of kidneys.( xrays tend not to show the uric acid stones). However flank pain, blood in the urine , crystas upon urine exam can give a clue.
