Do undiagnosed bipolar parents lead to severely depressed offspring(from all the unreined in verbal abuse while growing up)?

Children of Bipolar: There is no greater time in our life than between birth and adolescence in which our brain stores data that it will pull upon later to determine what it is that we should find as dangerous or threatening. Since the unknown/unfamiliar is a universal danger, if the familiar was yelling than your brain stores that as the norm and if unrecognized might translate to adult behaviors in my opinion.
