Usually in middle: If you have regular periods that are between 26-30 usually right in the middle is the time you most fertile. If your periods are much longer (for instance > 35 days apart) it can be very difficult to know exactly when you are ovulating.

Check blood test: If you are very worried check with blood test. Assuming that you are pregnant, the most simple explanation is that the test you have purchased from the drugstore is of a lower-sensitivity. This means that the test is capable of detecting pregnancy only when the level of HCG reaches a certain threshold, and the test is simply not sensitive enough to yield the positive result.

Yes: Spotting lightly is not a sign of pregnancy, however, spotting during pregnancy is not uncommon. If you think you may be pregnant plan to do an over the counter pregnancy test a few days after the missed period, .

Of course: Do a home preg test, if neg or if + u need to see yor obgyn so they cab do a blood preg test and if - then they can do further tests and an ultrasound to see why u did not get your period and if u are pg an ultrasound will see if it is normal and how far along u are.
