My bottom eye lid has been twitching for two weeks. is this something that calls for a doctors visit?

Myokymia : This could be due to poor sleep, increased reading (working on computer) eye straining, need for glasses, too much caffeine or even stress. If normal sensation in the face and no weakness noticed this is probably a benign process. If persists or worsens or if accompanied by any other symptom then i would check with your physician. When in doubt call your doctor! hope you feel well soon.
