weird question: i have asthma w/ cough and when it's bad the saliva in my mouth gets thick, even difficult to spit out. why is that?

Thick mucus: Because of your asthma you may be producing thick mucus. Use a bronchodilator like albuterol to expectorate.

Dryness: When breathing fast you can loose a lot of water, making saliva thicker.
