Food allergy symptom: Allergies to food can be mediated by immune cells or antibodies, ige or a combination of both. Ige mediated allergy symptoms occur fast within minutes to hours after comsuming the food ranging from simple hives to life threatening nausea, vomiting, throat closing, or anaphylaxis shock. Immune cells mediated causes belly pain, blood in stool or colitis. Eczema is mediated by both.
