could you tell me what happens to you when you get a staph infection?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Robert Dorsey
35 years experience Wound care
Depends: It all depends on the severity of the infection, the type of staph infection and the location of the infection. Most people do fine if treated appropriately. However, people can and have died from staph infections.
