What exactly is the first stage of male pattern hairloss?

Temporal recession: All normally masculinized men lose the hair on their temples around age 20. In men who will go bald, this progresses and there is also hair loss on the crown. A hairy-chested man is more likely to have male pattern baldness. It's genetic and not lifestyle-related. Good looks are primarily about fitness rather than where a guy does and does not have hair. Photo guy isn't complaining.
