Helps exfoliate : There are different types and strengths of chemical peels. They, in general, help exfoliate and as a result reduce the appearance of fine lines and dark marks. Some peels are deeper and resurface skin. These have some downtime and recovery. Glycolic peels are generally more gentle and have less down time.

Everyone can benefit: "everyone can benefit from a peel" is something I often tell my patients. We are able to customize peel formulations and strengths to achieve specific outcomes, such as improving skin texture, fine lines, reducing skin oiliness, improving acne and acne scarring and hyperpigmentation (sun damage, melasma, PIH), Consult with a cosmetic surgeon/specialist or derm for best options for your needs

Yes: A chemical peel is a controlled acid burn of the skin designed to allow the skin to heal in a cosmetically acceptable way. Any attempt to do good can go awry and unsightly scarring or blotchy pigmentation are both risks of a chemical peel. Choose a doctor with experience.

Individual evaualtio: It depends on ahe, skin color, and degree of damage. A light glycoluc or salicylic acid peel i'll refresh skin but relieve severe damage. A medium peel is more effective such as vipeel. For wrinkles around mouth fractionated laser would be better choice.
