Can work: Tea tree oil has some antiseptic properties and some studies have shown efficacy for treatment of acne. It's probably safest to use as a spot treatment. Some people can develop an allergic contact dermatitis to tea tree oil known as melaleuca oil dermatitis, so be careful. Consulting a dermatologist for acne treatment and management is recommended.
