Probably not: Unless your regular doc is also trained in radiologic angiography, (s)he will refer the study to a radiologist trained in MRI angiography.

A 52-year-old member asked:

Would a physical at a physical therapy clinic be different than at a doctor's office ?

Dr. Keegan Duchicela
Family Medicine 14 years experience
Could be.: I'm not sure exactly what a physical at a physical therapy clinic would entail, but a physician would go over your family, social, and medical history, medications, allergies, immunization status, preventative health and what is recommended for your age and risk factors. They would also examine your various organ systems. A physical therapist is not trained to conduct a physical like this.

Can any doctor or hospital diagnose Marfan syndrome or do I have to go to a special clinic?

Dr. Betty Keller

Depends: You can start with your primary care physician and then he or she can refer you to a specialist. You will want to see someone who has a lot of experience in diagnosing and treating marfan's.
A 26-year-old member asked:

I have BV can I just go to a clinic and ask for the meds to clear it?

Go to the clinic: If you think you have bv, go to the doctor to make sure. You may be right but a doctor should look to make sure that there isnt a secondary infection going on at the same time. If you do, it can be treated with antibiotics. In general it is best not to try to diagnose yourself.
A 69-year-old member asked:

My wife has lupus and fibromyalgia. Is there a clinic that specializes in these diseases? Or should we just suck em up and be content with present?

Dr. Kevin Passer

Lupis treatment: The best kind of dr. To address your condition is called a rheumatologist. I would look for someone who is board certified in that specialty. There should be a listing in the yellow pages or you may want to check with your local medical society. Good luck.
