Vomiting & diarrhea: To manage vomiting and diarrhea, make sure to replenish fluids lost by giving clear fluids containing electrolytes like pedialyte in small amounts. Withholding milk and regularly eaten foods will help rest the stomach and intestines. If the symptoms are mild and far in between, a soft diet may be tolerated. Just remember that fluids are more important than food.
