Turmeric: Turmeric is a spice made from the roots of the curcuma longa plant. Often found in asian foods, it's been used in traditional asian (including ayurvedic) medicine for gastrointestinal upset, arthritic pain, and "low energy." it may also have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties plus use in diabetes. The "best form" depends on your intended use. Turmeric powder, for instance in capsules.

Turmeric is generally safe in the quantities used in foods, but larger amounts can cause problems in some people. It can increase the risk of bleeding, especially in people on blood thinners. It can also cause gall bladder contractions -- so could cause problems if you have gall stones or gall bladder disease. It may also lower blood sugar and blood pressure. Doses of the powder range from 250 mg, 4 times daily for heartburn, to 2 grams/day (working up gradually) in osteoarthritis. For irritable bowel syndrome, 60 mg turmeric has been taken orally, three times/day for 18 weeks. Research data are mixed with all these uses -- and some people may not tolerate dosing beyond what you'd find in spicy meals.

Inflammation: Tumeric is used for many things. Some cultures believe it helps with weight loss and many believe it is good as an antiinflammatory. Please use with caution and buy high quality powder.

Lose wt, aerobics: Probably the best way to lose tummy fat would be to lose weight using aerobic exercise such as walking or cycling. Also you can work on strengthening your abdominal muscles. If you don't lose weight you probably not have the washboard abs one strives for.

What is the best way to cure dry, rough, skin on your heels?

"Cure" is not: The word you want to use. Rough, dry skin is something you limit or control. Naturally dry skin, diabetes, smoking and wearing open-heeled shoes are common contributors. Moisturizing creams and lotions with urea can help. If the skin is callused, sometimes, they need to be scraped and sanded down professionally to allow the moisturizers to do their thing. It is a never ending battle.

Pregnancy: I you have an irregular period it means you ovulate irregularly. You should keep a menstrual calendar writing when you start period and when you have sex. You can also buy an ovulation kit at the pharmacy, this will let you know when you ovulate so you can plan to have sex at that time. If you still can't get pregnant you should see a doctor and bring your menstrual calendar with you.
