More calories intake: Protein does not increase weight. Nor does it cause toxicity, unless all you eat is proteins or have kidney disease. Need balanced high calorie diet. Need carbohydrate, fat and protein. A gram of fat gives more than double calories of either protein or carbohydrate. Fast food is an excellent way to gain weight. Need to see you doc to rule out a disease causing weight loss like hyperthyroid!
